The short version: your entries stay on your device. We never see them.
Everything you write in the Loop Check — your thoughts, feelings, and reframes — is saved only in your own browser's local storage, on the device you're using. It is never sent to a server, never transmitted to us, and never readable by anyone but you. There is no account and no database of entries. If you clear your browser's site data, your entries are gone — because they only ever lived on your device.
If you choose to request the free field guide, you enter an email address on that form. That email is used only to send you the guide and the occasional note from Lamplight — nothing more — and you can ask to be removed at any time.
We count visits with GoatCounter, an open-source, privacy-first counter. It sets no cookies, does no fingerprinting, builds no profiles, and follows you across no other sites — it gives us aggregate counts (how many people visited, which pages, roughly what country and device type) and nothing else. It cannot see your entries; they never leave your device. That's the whole story.
This site may display ads served by Google, including through Google AdSense. In doing so:
Any ads are kept to a single unit, below the tool, and never inside the practice itself.
